Oke, mari kita bicara jujur. Hidup itu kadang sibuk tapi kita semua butuh makanan yang nggak cuma enak, tapi juga praktis. 

Semalam untuk dinner saya buat Creamy Curry Chicken. Ini dia pengalaman pertama saya bikin! Jujur, awalnya agak deg-degan tapi rasanya enakkkk banget!

Bayangin, ayam berlumuran saus kari kelapa jamur yang creamy, bikin pengen nambah nasi terus! Dan yang bikin makin happy, semua bahan ternyata udah ada di dapur! Murah, gampang didapat, dan yang paling penting – cuma butuh satu panci! 

Suka banget karena resep ini udah lengkap protein dan sayuran, plus semua bahan rasanya makin mantap keesokan harinya. Hari ini pakai paha ayam, tapi kamu bisa pakai bagian ayam lain sesuai selera, kayak paha bawah atau dada.

Mungkin Creamy Curry Chicken  keliatan ribet karena rasanya yang kompleks, tapi aslinya super gampang. Cuma butuh tick cream tapi kalau tidak punya bisa pakai coconut milk, bubuk kari, pasta tomat, bawang putih, bawang bombay, garam masala, dan kunyit. Cream bikin sausnya creamy dan kaya rasa, sementara pasta tomat kasih sentuhan asam yang segar. Bubuk kari juga banyak jenisnya, tinggal pilih yang sesuai selera pedas kamu.

Creamy Curry Chicken 
Dada ayam, potong dadu
Garam, kaldu bubuk dan merica
1 sendok makan kunyit
1 sendok makan paprika
1 sendok makan bubuk bawang putih
1 kaleng (250 ml) krim tick atau santan
2 sendok makan pasta tomat - lupa dimasukkan
1 sendok makan bawang putih cincang
1 bawang bombay besar (diiris)
10-15 jamur (diiris)
2 sendok makan bubuk kari
1 sendok makan garam masala
  1. Bumbui dada ayam dengan garam dan merica, kunyit, paprika, dan bubuk bawang putih.
  2. Tuang sekitar 1 sendok makan minyak ke dalam wajan, dan nyalakan api sedang-tinggi. Setelah wajan panas, masukkan ayam. Goreng selama 3 menit di setiap sisi. Angkat dan sisihkan.
  3. Di wajan yang sama, tumis bawang bombay iris dan jamur dalam minyak ayam selama 2-3 menit.
  4. Selanjutnya, tambahkan bawang putih cincang, bubuk kari, pasta tomat, dan garam masala. Tumis dan aduk.
  5. Masukkan ayam dan tuangkan krim atau santan. Pastikan ayam terlapisi sepenuhnya dalam saus.
  6. Tutup wajan dan masak dengan api sedang selama 10 menit. Nikmati dengan nasi panas!

Last night I cooked Creamy Curry Chicken. This was my first time cooked it.  Honestly, I was a bit nervous at first, but man, it was sooooo good!

Imagine, chicken covered in a creamy coconut mushroom curry sauce, you'll want to keep adding rice! And what made me even happier? All the ingredients were already in my kitchen! Cheap, easy to get, and the best part – it's all made in one pot!
I really love this recipe because it's got protein and veggies all in one, plus it tastes even better the next day. Today I used chicken thighs, but you can use any chicken part you like, like drumsticks or breasts.

Creamy Curry Chicken might seem complicated because of its complex flavor, but it's actually super simple. You just need tick cream, but if you don't have it, coconut milk works too, curry powder, tomato paste, garlic, onion, garam masala, and turmeric. The tick cream or coconut milk makes the sauce creamy and rich, while the tomato paste adds a nice tangy kick. There are also lots of different curry powders, so choose the one that matches your spice level.

Creamy Curry Chicken
chicken breast, slice dice
Salt and Pepper
1 tbsp of turmeric 
1 tbsp of Paprika
1 tbsp of Garlic Powder
1 Can of tick cream or coconut milk 
2 tbsp of Tomato Paste - lupa masukin 
1 tbsp of minced Garlic
1 large onion (sliced)
10-15 Mushroom (sliced)
2 tbsp of curry powder 
1 tbsp of garam masala 
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, turmeric, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Drizzle in around 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, and turn the heat up to medium-high. Once the pan is hot, add the chicken  pan-fry for 3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, saute sliced onion and mushroom in the chicken oil for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Next, add minced garlic, curry powder, tomato paste, and garam masala. Saute and mix.
  5. Add the chicken and pour in cream or coconut milk. Make sure the chicken is fully coated in the sauce.
  6. Put the lid on and let it cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Enjoy with hot rice!
